FIRM PROFILE
At Estia Health, we exist to enrich and celebrate life together. We create residential aged care homes where everyone is welcome. Homes that reflect the residents who choose us, the local communities around us and the people that support and work with us.
Estia Health as it stands today, came together in 2014 following the amalgamation of three major, established aged care providers – Estia Health, Padman Health Care and Cook Care. We continued to grow with the Kennedy homes joining the Estia Health family in 2016. It was at this time that our organisation’s One Family motto came to life as we worked together to understand each other’s perspectives and celebrated each organisations heritage, which is what makes Estia Health the diverse residential aged care organisation it is today.
As a publicly listed company, today Estia Health is one of Australia’s larger aged care operators, with 70+ homes in SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. We care for over 8,000 residents every year and support them and their family at an incredibly important time in their lives. We embrace diversity and welcome residents from all walks of life.
Every person that comes into our care will have their own individual care needs, diverse background and life experiences. When moving into one of our homes, we focus on you as a unique individual to support you to live your life while in our home. This involves looking at all aspects of your life, your preferences and care needs, including physical and mental health and working closely with you and those who are important to you.
The majority of residents in our care have a diagnosis of dementia or a serious chronic condition that requires high-level clinical care and management, with many requiring dementia care or palliative care. Our experienced teams of clinicians lead and coordinate residents’ often complex care in partnership with GPs, local Primary Health Networks, allied health professionals, community nurses and specialists.
