Kalle Känd has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MS Pharma since February 2020.
Before joining MS Pharma, Kalle held the CEO position at Acino International AG, Switzerland, from 2016-2018. He was the company’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) from 2014-2016.
Throughout his career, Kalle has held various commercial and strategy positions like VP Strategy Emerging Markets for Takeda, Regional Head of Strategy and Alliance Management
for Nycomed Russia/CIS,
and Director International Marketing for Nycomed.
Kalle has more than 20 years of experience in the international pharmaceutical industry, closed several M&A and licensing deals, divestments, and carve-outs. Kalle has a proven track record of leading companies, and sales & marketing organizations in multiple geographical regions.
Kalle Känd studied medicine at Tartu and Helsinki University and received a Doctor of Medicine degree.
